Kinokuni oil pumps included with the transmission and differential oil cooler kits are not designed for operation when gear oil is cold.



Operation of the pump in cold conditions (ambient temperature less than 10°C) or when oil has not been warmed to operating temperature can result in pump failure.

For this reason Kinokuni recommends use of their either of their fan control kits (available separately) to control when the pump is operating.



Kinokuni Gear Oil Cooler kits include: Pump (Projet), cooler core (Setrab, 260x100x50), oil filter (AN female in/out), 4 x hose end (#6 straight), 2 x hose end (#6 45 degree), 2 x hose end (#6 90 degree), flex SS hose (#6 size, 3m), 2 x adapter (pump side, AN6 female - NPT3/8 female), 2 x adapter (transmission/diff side, types differ dependent on vehicle type).
