TODA 4AGE 20V Dowel Pin Information

TODA's 4AG20V intake camshafts are designed for use with the AE101 engine. They are also suitable for AE111 versions (Black head cover) of the 4AGE 20V but the dowel pin location is different on the standard camshafts.

The position of the standard cam center angle when used with the STD pulley of the AE111 engine is 120deg. TODA's camshaft center angle will become 125deg when used with the standard camshaft pulley - this may require the camshaft to be advanced by 5deg. Should the end user wish to re-time the camshaft to the manufacturers standard central cam timing position, TODA recommends the use of their 2 step dowel pin.

This new position of the camshaft advances the timing by the required 5deg (from 125deg up to 120deg - AE111 standard angle).
